Using this site
Security settings
The Carousel web site uses cookies and elements of JavaScript and Java. If your security settings are set high then some features of this site may not operate as designed and we may not be able to process your order. If you are having problems, then you may need to amend the security settings on your browser.
Internet Explorer 6 on PC
- Click "Tools" menu.
- Select "Internet Options"
- Click "Privacy" tab
- Click "Advanced" button
- Click check mark in the Box for "Override Automatic Cookie Handling"
- At the bottom, click check mark in the "Always accept session cookies"
- Click "OK"
Internet Explorer 5 on PC
- Click "Tools" menu.
- Click "Internet Options"
- Click "Security" tab.
- Click "Custom Level".
- Click "Enable" under "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer".
- Click OK until you return to Internet Explorer.
Internet Explorer 4 on PC
- Click "View" menu.
- Click "Internet Options"
- Click "Advanced" tab.
- Click "Always Accept Cookies".
- Click OK until you return to Internet Explorer.
Internet Explorer 5 on Mac
- Click "Edit" menu.
- Click "Preferences."
- Click "Receiving Files" in preferences window.
- Scroll to 'Receiving Files' section
- Select 'Cookies'
- In 'When receiving cookies' menu, change to 'Never Ask' for this website.
Netscape Communicator 7.x
- Click "Edit" menu.
- Click "Preferences."
- Select "Privacy and Security" and then "Cookies" in "Preferences" window,
- Click "Enable All Cookies" or "Enable cookies for the originating web site only".
- Click "OK."
Opera 7.x
- Click "File" menu.
- Select "Preferences" Select "privacy" from the menu on the left
- Click "Enable Cookies" box.
- In "Normal Cookies" list select "Accept all without question" or "Display in dialog box with multiple choice" If you select "Display in dialog box with multiple choice" , the next time you receive a cookie from this site, you will see a pop-up box. Choose "Accept cookies for this domain"
Safari for Mac OS X
- Click Safari menu.
- Click 'Preferences'
- Click 'Security' button in Preferences window.
- Next to 'Accept Cookies' section, select 'Always' option.
Browser capability
Internet Explorer
Hover your mouse over the Security Padlock in the bottom right corner of your browser window. This should display a pop-up of ‘‘SSL Secured (128 bits)’’. If it is less than 128 bits please download the Internet Explorer High Encryption Pack by visiting www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads
/recommended/128bit/default.asp.
Netscape
Click the Security Padlock in the right corner of your browser. The Personal Security Manager should display a message in the centre of the page stating ‘‘Connection Encrypted’’ and the encryption level. If this is below 128 bits then upgrade to the latest version of Netscape by visiting www.netscape.co.uk/netscape
If you are still having difficulties
Check to see if you have any third party firewall, Internet security or pop-up killer software running on your PC and either turn this off or adjust the settings to allow pop-up windows and scripting.
